Hi,
    Here's Alcian Yellow again.
REAGENTS:
    1) 1% Periodic Acid
    2) 5% Sodium Metabisulfite
    3) 1% Alcian Yellow (Poly Scientific #s2423) <----- filter before use
    4) Toluidine Blue Stock Solution (0.1%)
            a) 0.1g Toluidine Blue (Poly Scientific #s2424)
            b) 100 ml d-H2O
    5) 3% Sodium Hydroxide
    6) Toluidine Blue Working Solution (prepared fresh)
            a) 0.5ml Toluidine Blue Stock Solution
            b) 50ml d-H2O
            c) 2 drops of 3% Sodium Hydroxide Solution

PROCEDURE
    1) Deparaffinize and hydrate to d-H2O
    2) Oxidize in 1% Periodic Acid for 10 min.
    3) rinse well in tap H2O
    4) 5% Sodium Metabisulfite for 5 min.
    5) Tap H2O rinse (2 min)
    6) 1% Alcian Yellow 5 min.
    7) Tap H2O rinse well
    8) Toluidune Blue Working Solution 3 min.
    9) Tap H2O rinse
    10) Dehydrate QUICKLY clear and mount

RESULTS
    Helicobacter pylori ....... Blue
    Mucin .......................... Yellow
    Background ................. Pale Blue
