As an aside to the rbc autofluorescence problem, red blood cells
from patients with erythro-protoporphyria fluoresce red. My limited
experience of two cases suggests it would be unduly problematic
anyway - it is the deuce of a job to visualise the poor signal.

I occasionally show an old photo. of a rat model for the disease,
with its incisors fluorecsing vry brightly under UV light.

The disease is believed by some to have manifestations which have
led to the belief in the "werewolf". Hirsuitism is another
characteristic of the disease.
