Dear Tom,

I had the same trouble with doing HIER in a pressure cooker in the microwave, 
and couldn't put a finger on anything that I was doing differently.  It had 
worked at first.  But one day I noticed that the turntable wasn't moving 
anymore.  When we got our new DAKO Autostainer they introduced me to the 
steamer method.  It has worked very well, and I never have solutions boiling 
over anymore.
