In fact they provided me with a sample and I had nice and clean staining on FFPE
cynomolgus spleen, following the given  protocol.
  It is indicated on the data sheet that the antibody is not effective on frozen
sections. So really NO WAY ? I would rather need a procedure to do it on frozen
tissue.

You may be surprised to learn that the Novocastra Laboratories antibody
NCL-CD4-1F6 (clone 1F6), also recognizes a variety of non-human primate
species including rhesus, cynomolgus and pig tailed macaques.
Investigators at the NIH and California Regional Primate Research Center
(Davis, CA) have used this antibody successfully on these tissues. The
Novocastra distributor in Switzerland, Readysysteme AG (Argovia) should
be able to provide you with a sample to trial.
