Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had any special techniques for frozen
sections. Liver tissue tends of curl up after being put in the
Oil Red O solution. We cut them at 10 microns. If we cut them
at 8 microns, we usually do not have the problem.
We use tissue that has been fixed in 10% formalin, then rinsed
and put in sucrose solution.
Our pathologists like the sections to be cut at 10 microns.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sharon
