Hello histonetters!!
I am doing a routine Congo Red stain for Amyloid deposits, but has anyone out
there ever heard of a Potassium Permanganate 1% dip to bleach and distinguish
between primary and secondary amyloid??? This may be an old procedure. Any
help would be greatly appreciated!! Please e-mail me directly at
