     Histonetters:
It looks like I'm going to have to do some immunoelectronmicroscopy
soon. I'll probably be looking for elastin in the dermis of a skin
construct. I've done plenty of ultrastructural work on collagen and
other skin components, but this will be my first IEM.
So, does anyone have any recommendations for IEM in the skin? Are
you doing colloidal gold techniques, or something else? And most
importantly, how are you fixing the tissues, and are you labeling
before or after processing and embedding?
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone doing similar techniques, or
even just some good references. Thanks a lot.
