Regarding Adriana's question about which cytokeratin to use on
sentinel nodes: Look at the abstract (#1321) by Linden and Zarbo in
Modern Pathology 2000; 13:224A. They compared AE 1/AE3, CAM 5.2 and a
CK cocktail of 7 anti-CK Abs. They found the CK cocktail to be the
mosts sensitive Ab, staining more tumor cells with increased
intensity.

Hi all!
Could anyone tell me which Ab(s) is (are) most commonly used in
sentinel
node staining? Which one is better and gives the least amount of
background? Is there a great difference between AE1/AE3 and CAM 5.2?
Thanks for your help
Adriana
