Hi,
I don't know why DAKO doesn't say CD23 is applicable to formalin fixed tissue. We do it quite frequently with beautiful results, and the pathologists love it. I dare say it's one or our more fool proof stains, since I have yet to see it not work. (knock on wood... are we that good??? haha)
It has a routine heat induced epitope retrieval then a 60 minuite incubation followed be 10 min in link and label of the LSAB2 kit. We use the prediluted form.

The one from DAKO is not listed as "Applicable to formalin-fixed tissue" unless their CSA detection is used; however, we have been able to obtain good immunoreactivity following HIER in a 98 degree waterbath and then detection with DAKO's EnVision+.
