Hello Jennifer,

We are doing routinely acetone fixation on frozen sections without having any
problems. I guess it could be a question of drying the sections.  We dry them
overnight in room temperature and usually fix (if the antibody doesn't require
other fixatives e.g. PFA) in acetone (RT) for 7 min.
