Hi Phil,

I found this under the synonym 2-hydroxadipaldehyde in Chem Sources USA. It
has Polysciences as the only distributor. They have an office in Germany. You
can E-mail them at polysciences.europe@t-online.de or phone at (49) 6221-765767.

Hi there folks

We are desperately trying to locate a chemical called 2-hydroxyhexane-dial
that is used as a component of a polymer called HACH as described by Olesen
et al. It used to be supplied by Aldrich but our local Sigma Aldrich
supplier tells us that they discontinued it in 1990. If anyone can recommend
a supplier I will be really grateful.

2 - hydroxyhexane-dial aka. 2-Hydroxyadipaldehyde or 2-Hydroxyadipic
dialdehyde or alpha.-Hydroxyadipaldehyde

Chemical abstract no. 141-31-1

Thanks

Phil
