Colin,

What "Brand" of Linear stainer do you have?
Is staining too light? Too dark?
What Type of Eosin do you currently use Alcoholic ? Aqueous?
Feel Free to give me a call or call the company that sells the stainer. I'm sure they have an applications  support line.  Most companies do.
