Question, can anyone give me a procedure for this stain. One of my pathologist's has a reference for this stain to look for acidic mucosubstances in a renal tumor. We would generally run a alcian blue pH2.5 or a Mowry's collodial iron for this, but she demands a Hale's colloidal iron. We can find no procedure for this in any of our references. Thanks in advance,
Tammy Barnhart
