we hold our sentinel nodes for 24hrs prior to handling by gross room staff
just to be on the "safe" side.  however, our nuclear med. people have
assured everyone that the amount of radiation emitted from them is so low
that you'd actually get more radiation exposure from standing out in the
sun!
