Hi Angeline,
I've never worked with brain tissue before, and it may be more sensitive,
but since I process all my mouse tissue by hand and without vacuum, I
always leave tissues in paraffin bath overnight to help insure complete
infiltration. Don't know if this helps, but it's my 2 cents.
