At our lab, we place our sections on positive charged slides, then microwave
in a plastic slide rack for 3 min. and 30 sec. (always using a microwave with
a turn table and placing at edge of turn table to ensure adequate rotation),
then we run the slides down to water, place in antigen retrieval solution (we
use Decloaker from biocare)  for 20 min. (in a black and decker rice
steamer), then allow to set at room temp. for 20 min., rinse with water
(slowly), and proceed as usual.  We have had great success with this.  Good
