Dear All,

Since 1984 we have been using a BioRad H2500 Microwave Processor to
process renal biopsies.

Our Protocol:

Fixation: solution not important 10min @ 60degreesC
Dehydration: 100% alcohol 8 min @ 60C
                        100% alcohol 10min @ 60C
                        Isopropanol 8 min @ 60C
                        Isopropanol 10min @ 60C
Infiltration: Paraplast Wax in vacuum embedder under 15mm
                        mercury @ 60c TWO CHANGES 10 MINS.

The pathologist usually has the slides in under 2 hours and reported
in under 3 hours.
