Ferenc Gallyas has published many silver methods, including at least
one for Alzheimer's pathology that has been improved upon by various
later authors.
A forthcoming issue of the journal Biotechnic & Histochemistry
(? the next one) will contain an illustrated review article by
Dr D. Munoz on "Pathology of Dementia." This paper includes
instructions for an effective Gallyas technique, and a critical
evaluation of all the histological and immunohistochemical methods
currently used in this branch of neuropathology.
