When Miles (now Bayer) chose to discontinue histology sales, Sakura remained
the
manufacturer but placed Sakura's name on the products (VIP, coverslipper,
stainers, etc.). Sakura has maintained programs established by the "Lab-Tek"
organization: VIP operator training, the Histologic publication as examples.
A
two-day operator training program is held here in Torrance, California. This
is
conducted once a month, at the minimum. Attendence details and options are
available through your Area Sales Manager. I will forward your communique to
him and you could also speak to others from your area who have attended this
training.

"Warmest" Holiday wishes. Nancy

Hey Histonet,

Happy Holidays to one and all.
I've just a short and quick question. We're in the market for a second
processor and the VIP Tissue Tek is the only way for me. Sakura no longer
sells via Miles in Indiana. They sell direct, so the question is, Is outside
training still provided and if so where? Thanks for the help.
