I need to make a correction on the polyvinyl alcohol I recommended for
coating bone specimens before immersion in the dry ice/hexane or
isopentane slurry.

the polyvinyl alcohol (Sigma P-8136) should have a molecular weight of
30,000 - 70,000) and make a 4-5% solution in water.

Higher molecular weight PVA will not go into solution, tried it the other
day and realized I gave the wrong MW PVA info. Sorry for any inconvenience.
