Hi Andrea,
We use Miller's elastic stain routinely on paraffin sections and I
believe one of the components is Victoria blue, but I'll have to check
the recipe on Monday for you. It stains elastin, even very fine fibres
bluish black and counterstain is van Gieson, no nuclear stain. Let me
know if this is something you might be interested in and I'll e-mail the
