I am in the process of developing a cross-training program for some of the
histologists in my department and was wondering if there have been any
guidelines established for histology productivity. What I am mostly
interested in is the number of blocks/hour for embedding, cutting and
coverslipping. Although there are certain people who can embed and cut much
faster than others, I do not want to set unrealistic goals for those who have
not had the same amount of experience.
Any information would be appreciated.
