What knife holder were you using?

The only knife holder I ever had to take apart and tediously clean after 
every use was the Miles AccuEdge Disposable Blade Insert for low profile 
disposable blades.using manufacturers cleaning kit/instructions, and kept a 
repair kit on hand at all times.   Fortunately, we only used this holder 
for thin (1 and 2 um) paraffin sections i.e. kidney biopsies on an old AO 
820 microtome.
