Liam,

I use Dawn antibacterial dish detergent to clean mine
after every 2nd run.  1ml to 100ml of warm tap water. 
A good rinse, and wipe dry.  No problems so far.  I'm
guessing you could find any good dishwash detergent
and it would do the same.
