Dave:
Click on the below link for a distributor of C4d. It isn't cheap and
doesn't titer out very far. I use ours at 1:40 & 1:80. Tried more dilute
incubations with overnight incubations, but no luck.
I don't think I would give up the indirect IF for C4d and use this antibody
for all C4d needs.
C4d requires the standard 20 minute steam HIER. I use preheated DAKO's pH
6.0 Target Retrieval solution.
I have found overnight incubation of primary C4d gives best results and a
30 minute detection link using DAKO's Envision Plus for rabbit primary
antibodies.
The use of Envision will eliminate the need for an avidin / biotin block.
