RE: Xylene Resistant Labels Again

From:"Charles W. Scouten, Ph.D."

Try a vibrating engraver, less than $50 at your hardware store, and
write directly on the glass. Nothing can ever take it off. No ink. No
adhesive. You do have no contrast, and have to get the light angle
right to read it.

Cordially,

Subject: Xylene Resistant Labels Again

Greetings All,

It has been about 6 months since this subject has been tossed around. We
would really like to pre-label our slides and have the label and ink
survive the process. I would like to hear of both success stories and
failures. I am familiar with the DAKO printer, as it is very similiar
to the Ventana label printer. Any vendors that I have not already
contacted, please feel free to contact me.
