RE: Skin sections damaged by retreival

From:"Turner, Scott"

I too would be interested in any ideas on this. I've faced the same problem
and have not yet found a way to combat it. What has worked the best is
silanized slides, but even then the tissue quality is extremely poor
following antigen retrieval. The problem is worse for autopsy than for
surgical samples, but I've yet to come up with a suitable solution.

Subject: Skin sections damaged by retreival

Has anyone had a problem with sections of skin falling apart during HIER?
How
can I avoid this? It doesn't happen every time, but it's often enough to be
annoying.
Thanx,
steve
