Let me explain - I was actually replying to the original post in which I
understood the change to have been made just to be like all the other
instruments. If the high profile blades caused the problem, I'd quickly
change back if the low profile worked well! Make sense? J:>)

You didn't say what kind of problems you are having???

Depending on who's blades you use, tweak i.e. increase knife holder angle
to 11 - 12 degrees, particularly with Richard Allen's high profiles (Edge
Rite). We love these blades and not using them on a Microm either.  If you
have trouble with a blade in one way, take it out, turn it around, since
manufacturing can create small variations.
