RE: CD138

From:"Dawson, Glen"

I have used both this Serotec antibody and the DAKO CD138 (Clone MI15). I
had much better results with the DAKO antibody and was able to titer it out
further to reduce cost. pH 6.0 citrate HIER @ a 1:100 dilution.

Good Luck,

Glen Dawson.

We are also using the Serotec antibody ....we use Dako Citrate solution at
pH 6.1 in a Microwave pressure cooker for 40 minutes. The articles I read
said it required very heavy retrieval. I have not tried it with our regular
method yet which is the Rice Steamer for 30 minutes. Our dilution with
this method is 1-200 with a staining time of 45 minutes using the Enivision
Plus system on a Dako Autostainer. Tonsil is a good control.
