The Cystic Fibrosis Center of the University of North Carolina is
recruiting a full-time Histotechnologist to supervise the light
microscopy histology laboratory. 

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related science field
plus 2 years of relevant work experience. The sucessful candidate will
possess experience in a leadership role, management and teaching skills,
proficiency in embedding, sectioning, staining and immunohistochemistry
of paraffin, frozen and plastic.

The Histology Core is a research facility encompassing light and
electron microscopy, providing service to 120+ faculty and staff. The
research is dynamic and challenging, but the environment is low stress.
This is a Laboratory Research Specialist position with a salary range of
$30,582-47,589, depending on experience.
