We're in the midst of working up the anti-GFP antibody from Chemicon.  We need to re-order and I've been looking at the Molecular Probes and Abcam antibodies.  They both offer monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies against GFP.  What is the benefit of using a monoclonal antibody in murine tissue?  Would anybody choose that over a rabbit polyclonal and why?  It seems all of these companies offer reputable sources for this product, so how does one choose which one to buy?
