When you ar refering to mega slides and coverslips what are the sizes. We
use 150mm x 120mm ground edged sized slides for double hemisphere brain
sections, and the corresponding coverslips are sized at 110mm x 140mm. The
slides come from a local glass supplier who cuts them to size for us, and
the coverslips are from Lomb scientific. We also use other sized slides and
coverslips, mostly for large brainstem and cerebellum. The sizes for the
slides are 70mm x 38mm and 76mm x 50mm, while the coverslips are 64mm x 32mm
and 75mm x 50mm. These sized slides and coverslips are from Lomb Scientific

I know, I know..............I said earlier that there wasn't time
for histonet with the holidays coming up.  I lied.

Anyways................I was hoping that someone out there could
provide me with a source for some of those mega slides and
accompanying coverslips.  I checked the archives already and I
found info. about suppliers of those mega cassettes but
surprisingly enough those companies didn't have a listing in their
catalogs for the slides.  Also, since the slides are too big to fit
into your standard slide filing cabinets what options are there for
storing them?
