Urgent! I need
advice on what I can use for fixation of a cervical plate made of polyglycolic
acid and polylactic acid and the vertebral body. I am looking at tissue response to the
plate. Normally, I use 10% buffered
formalin to fix tissue before alcohol dehydration and plastic embedding for
undecalcified blocks. However, I have been told that formalin could react
unfavorably with PGA or PLLA.
