Blood cells in plastic

From:Gayle Callis

First of all, which plastic? Glycol methacrylate (GMA)? methylmethacrylate?

GMA embedded bone cells (as in bone marrow sections) can be stained with
Giemsa or Wright-Giemsa

PMMA(methylmethacrylate sections), remove plastic from thin sections, and
stain with a Giemsa as you would a paraffin section with paraffin removed.
