I have this problem when it gets really dry here in the desert. I've tried 
the dryer sheets but the breathing technique that others suggest works 
about the best. Also - a Leica rep told me to put a container of absolute 
alcohol in the cryostat and that would help. I don't know but I could swear 
that it does help. You might try it.
