RE: Direct Red 72 for Amyloid
From: | Terry.Marshall@rgh-tr.trent.nhs.uk |
Whilst on the subject, David Weedon's book on Dermatopathology recommends (from memory) Pagoda red, a Dylon dye, but gives no method.
Any offers?

Looking through the newest Anatech calendar, I came across a picture
(September 2001) of amyloid staining using Direct Red 72. It looks great!
Can someone clue me in to what procedure to use, and where to get this dye?
Thanks!
