We have been using the Cytologix stainer for special stains since January of
this year. It produces high quality staining consistently.  We will be
getting an upgrade on the heating system soon, which will improve the
consistency of silver staining throughout the slide (best staining on silver
stains has been in the middle of the slide because of heat distribution). 
We have been very happy overall with the stainer.  We are not using it for
immunos, since we have a DAKO immuno stainer, but I have heard that it does
well with doing both specials and immunos together.  The one aspect that
this company excels in, is the customer service!  We have had very good
responses to any questions and concerns, plus the system is reliable with
very little (if any) downtime!
