    We have had students rotate through our lab for their practical 
experience. As I was on the job trained, I have found them to be very 
knowledgeable. The suggestions of one student helped me to prepare my slides 
for the board in a satisfactory manner. The staining we do at our facility 
does not meet ASCP standards for passing the slide test for H&E's. It was the 
students suggestions to differentiate a little differently than we do that 
brought my slides up to standard. Maybe it just depends on the schooling, but 
we have had some really gifted students. Just my 2 cents worth.
