We do a lot of pig skin. Our H&E is a regressive stain using Harris
hematoxylin, however we use acidified. We stain for 61/2 minutes in Harris
followed by a 1 min wash in running water and 1 second in .5% acid alcohol.
If we can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact us at the
Galesburg Animal Disease Laboratory, Galesburg, IL 309-344-2451.
