When we made the switch to a B-5 substitute, we performed a blind study,
using various substitutes on the market. We eventually decided on B-Plus
Fix from BBC. It has worked well in our lab, but is still not an absolute
B-5 replacement. Besides the 2 subs that you listed, we also tested
Surgipath's substitute, I.B.F. Good luck, it is a difficult change to
make.

Does anyone have experience with Z-5 (Anatech) or AZF (Newcomer
Supply)?
We are in search of a substitute for B-5 fixative and would
appreciate
input from those who have actually used them. Also, please let me
know
if there are others out there that are worth looking into.
	Thanks in advance!
