Hi Patricia,

We have 2 Ventana immunostainers and only use Ventana antibodies for ER and
PR. The rest we buy concentrated; a few predilutes, and put them in Ventana
"user defined" antibody dispensers. Of the antibodies that need to be made
up fresh or are ordered rarely, we simply run them in a titration mode
(applying the antibody manually). We do nothing benchtop. There are more
and more vendors out there that are selling predilute antibodies optimized
for the Ventana instruments; some are even available in dipensers...check
out Biocare Medical @ (800)799-9499 and Cell Marque @ (800)665-7284 to name
just a few. If you need help in optimizing concentrated antibodies for use
on the Ventana, we have over 80 that our lab runs and would be happy to
assist you.

Good Luck!

Linda
