Hi John
To my knowledge, chloroform is not an ingredient in PTAH. It is mainly a
potassium-permanganat and phosphorwolframacid-Hematoxylin staining. The only
nasty ingredient is the mercury from Zenkers fixative. You can consult
Bancroft & Stevens for more details.
