Dr Montgomery asked about the safety in changing the filter when it is full
of debris.
The new filter that replaces the one that is full comes in a ziplock bag
that contains two caps. With gloved hands, the old filter in disconnected,
and while inside the cryostat, the two ends are capped and placed in the
ziplock bag. The new filter is connected. The bagged filter is then
discarded with biohazard waste.
