One of our Pathologists likes to mark the entire
outside of thyroid specimens by giving them a bath in
20% silver nitrate. Although this technique works
nicely it is very expensive when using a high quality
product. What I am looking for is an inexpensive
(read low grade, impure) source for Silver Nitrate.
Anyone know of such a thing?
