Histonetters,
Thank you to everyone who responded with suggestions on how to save my important
immuno run that I put into alcohol after AEC. (Yes, I know better but it was a
bad day).
Anyway, I tried just redoing the AEC chromagen step as some people suggested.
Didn't work.
So then I just repeated the entire immuno run starting from the primary antibody
step. The run turned out absolutely beautiful. I was afraid of background but
they were wonderful. The post-doc who I was doing the work for said if they
would always turn out like this - he wouldn't mind if I messed up more often!
Thanks again for the suggestions.
