Marjorie,
The only stain I know which sounds a bit like Lissimine Yellow is
Lissamine Fast Yellow , synonyms: xylene yellow G ;xylene chromine G. It is
a greeish-yellow acid dye of the hydroxy-pyazol group. Probably best used
as part of a trichrome stain as the counterstain. Jill
