Now that is what I call the histonet in action. Nancy gets input from the
histonet on solving her dilemma and then lets everyone know how it turned
out and which suggestions worked. Sorry to send her post with mine, but I
wanted people to see what I was excited about. anita

Subject: Recouping my AEC immuno.
Histonetters,
Thank you to everyone who responded with suggestions on how to save my
important
immuno run that I put into alcohol after AEC.  (Yes, I know better but it
was a
bad day).
Anyway, I tried just redoing the AEC chromagen step as some people
suggested.
Didn't work.
So then I just repeated the entire immuno run starting from the primary
antibody
step.  The run turned out absolutely beautiful.  I was afraid of background
but
they were wonderful.  The post-doc who I was doing the work for said if they
would always turn out like this - he wouldn't mind if I messed up more
often!
