Bruce:

We have a Ventana ES and we were having similiar problems with negative
staining of some of our control/patient slides.  There was no pattern to the
failed staining.  We had a pm done (total change of tubes etc.) and the
problem went away.  There was a problem with a pump also that wasn't
apparent until tested during the pm.  Just a thought.
