	We've always used 1-1/2 type coverslips, both for manual and
auto coverslipping. We've been using the Leica coverslipper for almost
two years with this size without any problems. We use 22 x 50 mm
coverslips from Shandon, but perhaps thickness is more of an issue if
you use smaller coverslips. They may not flex enough for a robotic
coverslipper.
