Bartonella IFA test kit

If the Bartonella antibody is not available, and only used in a kit/IFA.
and if the fluorochrome is FITC, one could come back with an antiFITC 
conjugated to alk phos, use alk phos substrate kit, view it with 
light microscope.  another tweak, but a possiblitly IF a fluorescent scope is
not available, any comments???
